Yes, I have four cats — and I’m a proud, unapologetic cat mom. These little souls are my world. Cuddelz and Pepperz, whom I adopted during the San Francisco lockdown, came with their own challenges: Pepperz has skin allergies and Cuddelz deals with asthma and anxiety. After moving to NYC, I adopted Katniss and Floofy. Katniss has allergies too, and Floofy once battled pyothorax and was oxygen-dependent for several days at AMC. Each one requires daily care — but they give me more than I could ever give them. Their love, resilience, and presence carry me through the hardest days and remind me that true goodness still exists in the world.
